What is Demon's Arena? Demon's Arena is an idea where we organize duels, people can bet on the outcome, and you can climb the ladder.


How are duels arranged? To participate you'll fill out the form below and I will arrange the time based on the level and gear. If you'd like to have bids on the outcome of the battle you might have to wait for bidders to come.


How do bets work? Simple betting odds; for example, Player A vs Player B is the matchup, I place 1 LE on Player A and another person places 32 EB on Player B. Let's say Player B wins, the person who placed 32 EB will now receive 60 EB (the other 4 EB goes to the winner of the duel! ).


How does ranking work? I will arrange an ELO formula, we'll have Rank A, B, C, and D.


How do prizes work? There are several forms of rewards: LE, Paypal, Ranks, Bombs, Items, and Bidding of course. Prizes that involve Paypal, Ranks etc. will be handed out at the end of each season to the designated Rank Category, most likely Top 3 in Rank A. Or if there's a really good battle, i'll spice it up w/ a prize of my own :) Also, this is a bit far fetched, though, I can code a private mod if you'd like.

Rules of the duel:
1) No potions allowed
2) You will be fighting the same style of setup and class your opponent is set up with.
3) There is absolutely no outside help allowed. For example, you may not have your friend drive by and heal you. Therefore, both parties will be given the location of the duel on short notice.
4) You may not bribe/convince the other party to purposely lose a battle in order for bets to come in your favor.
5) Both parties must try in each duel, there is no slacking tolerated. The implication here is that if bets are on the battle, one party may take the battle easy whereas the other party might be giving it their all.​

Updates:

As of 1/6/18 the discord bot is fully functional and complete. It now has the following capabilities: matchmaking, ranking, betting, odds, and much more. Join the discord and check #announcements for more information :)

I'd say only let level 100-101s or else trust me, it'll be super hard to organize

However, you need to organize fair stuff, for example, you can let in tank mage, or they'll just win the entire tournament, that's why usually duel stuff and things like that are bad, there's always a way to abuse, this time its with Mage because a tank mage just needs to not be one shotted and boom, it wins... :(

I dont care against who I play or what equip they have but anyone with a good build against anything here will be victorius in a fight tbh. In some time all really good competers in this challenge will be known to use a certain build that can probably be countered.

By the end of It all this will have nothing to do with skill but how much money people have. If people were required to use the same gear (basics) then I’d sign up but otherwise this is pointless to me

I'm now level 93. slightly change but still the same ws build

 

none should be allowed or it will be too hard to be sure about the amount of potion consumed

It should be for class too
A tank warrior cannot fight a tank mage without losing

You should make the place of the fight totally secret until last moment, or else people may just get like "oh, look a mage is coming by, oh look, he just healed me, I definitevely don't know him"
But this may also be to disqualify the other party, for example putting a mage that constantly heal your opponent will make him seem like he's the cheater while you just sent a friend of yours to do that.
It may also be used in a moment of disadvantage like "oh look, someone healed me, gotta go back to the start"

I don't think so.
While money will for sure play a big part in this, especially because of mythics, there shouldn't be one same gear, not only will rich people find a way to get perfect of this build, but also, its not fun to see 2 same build just fight over and over with no change, going from one duel where it will be a glasscanon versus another one, to a tank vs tank to just everytime the same build... not fun :(

 

Still not gonna do it just cause moneys gonna be the only thing that matters

 

Wow! Thanks for the feedback, from this I've deduced the following and put into effect:

» Fight the same class
» Location to be revealed shorty before the fight begins

Oh also if the battle could in a place without lava or cliff so it don't kill us by multi hit for exemple
