Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Ali nods, but keeps quiet.

"I'm glad you're okay... at least, now you are." Ihra says, trying to lighten her mood.

 

"I didn't expect an attack from heartless. We're lucky to all be here." Ignia says, offering a warm expression.

 

Ihra smiles.
"Someone kept telling me they were nobodies, not heartless. I can't remember who..." She grins, getting lost in her own thoughts.

Ali silently heads back to the mess hall, nervous.

 

"Those dark creatures are heartless, the ones in black cloaks or with greyish white bodies are the nobodies." Aeris says.

 

"Oooh, okay... that makes sense. Sort of."
Pause.
"Well, at least we're all here now, right?"

 

"Indeed." Tirra says, smiling.

A while later, I return smiling, a familiar water guardian beside me, looking a little weak.

 

Ihra glances at the elites, looking for Aqui.

After a period of relative stability (at least, nothing bad enough happened to have anyone disturb you), Ren knocks on your chamber door. The only reason you can tell it's him is that he peeked in at you instead of telling you who he is after knocking.

You get the feeling that he'll never quite fit in with the Perconiosan way of life...

 

(I might switch to using third person just so I can be consistent with how I do RPs nowadays)
"You may enter, Sir Ren."

 

He opens the door, holding a small wrapped box.
"I watched people
give these boxes.
I thought maybe
you'd want one?" He says, stepping a bit closer and holding the gift towards you.

 

Terrae smiles.
"Thank you, I appreciate the gesture." He says, accepting the gift. "I'm sorry, I don't have anything for you at the moment. I'm not used to receiving gifts these days."

 

Ren shrugs.
"Gave me food
...for a year?
Didn't know what
you want, either."

 

"It's fine I appreciate anything." Terrae says, "Do you mind if I open it right now?"

 

"Who is Reiglynn? Does he live in the underground?"

 

Solis glances at you.
"Do you not know the other elders? And yes, in fact... at least, somewhat. His lair is in a cave."

He shakes his head.
"Was exploring crater.
Found on ground.
Thought you'd like."

 

"Well then, if you have nothing else to do, then you are dismissed."

 

"Can I watch
you open it?"

 

"Most certainly." Terrae says, before opening the present as meticulously as possible, attempting to not damage the wrappings.

 

The paper was folded like origami, allowing you to keep the entire sheet intact.
Inside is a crystal that's extremely clear.
"Hold to light
makes some colors."
Must be a prism.

 

Terrae holds up the crystal to the nearest light source.

 

"The other elders have slipped my mind. I have not met them in my time on Phykrah. Now, a Galer lives in a cave? How is this possible?"
