Olm are apparently a race, there is evidence that supports the fact bob's real mother was Olm who died giving birth to bob, theres also proof the Olm are residents of dern (thats why bob uses his dernic weapons.)

It could also be seen as a specific Olm. He/She of all the Olm isn't able to survive in Wynn.
But I highly doubt this.

1) We don't know if Olm are a race of an individual, but I'll accept race for now
2) Where is this said?
3) Where is this said? Everything else that we know is from Dern is called Dernic, and the other creatures to be confirmed from Dern are not mentioned in the same place as Olm

 

Yeah, it has to be only one. The creature says: "... it is coming for us."
It refers to a single creature.

 

It's just irritating that you are presenting what you are saying as fact. It's your theory, but it's not actually said anywhere

But it would make sense. What if The Olm were the pre-wynn race, and they had expansive knowledge of magic in such a way that Humans never had? They built the Door of Time and Desert Ruins and whatnot.

But then, they realized The Eye was taking over Dern, and sealed away the province in hopes of containing it. Then, they died away, and the Humans came in and eventually discovered Dern, as per the Abandoned Mines lore.

That would make The Olm a race, and "it" be The Eye

 

But the dude said the Olm can't survive in Wynn.

 

Most likely that The Eye would make its way to Wynn in one way or another.

I firmly believe he is Dernic. Too much evidence points to Bob having Dern connections

There's no problem with believing your theory is correct, but you can't present it as fact

 

If there's no supporting evidence, it can't even be called a theory, . But that still doesn't mean it can be presented as fact.

 

Which is why it's a theory and not a random guess. But evidence still doesn't confirm a theory as true

Although you do say "apparently" here, you say there's PROOF that Olm are the residents of Dern.

Proof means it proves it's true. No. You have evidence, but there's no proof unless something in-game says "The Olms are the residents of Dern"

 

Where is it said? Could you show me a screenshot of anything ingame stating that Bob was not only an olm, but the last one of them, which you said were a human race, from Dern..? An NPC saying so, a discovery showing it through lore, something on the website..
