Just saying this in case you weren’t aware and it could be of any use, in Slykaars old house in troms there’s stacks of books that involve the total compendium of the corruption in Wynn and books about other dimensions.

Also, in the slykaar quest you go into the world which is gray, black and green. Could this world be related to the dernic weapon skins because one of the GMs I believe it was said one of the quests helped explain the color scheme for the dernic weapon models, which are green and black.

 

And for the villagers:
gavel is obviously much more MAGICAL than wynn. And as said by a villager, they arent really physically mighty, so they use magic more. This combined created a booming magic (industry?). When villagers came, they brought weapons that were infused with gavel magic, and tried to teach the humans. As wynn has much less natural magic, this spread rapidly

 

I'm pretty sure it was made clear that ALL humans originate from Fruma

I looked at that in depth. I'd like to belive that's Dern or the Realm of Shadow/Darkness, hence him mentioning a "dark god" and the weapon colors, everything just fits (especially calling shaman magic "dark magic"

What annoys me is that he says he "made" the realm. Maybe made the portal? But yeah, I definitely did pick up on that

Good thought. But keep in mind that even if so, Villagers still didn't come until WELL AFTER the portal opened

That's a good question. It would appear to be human in creation, but considering it houses one of the four crystals, it may be some other weird thing. This is why lore breaks saying Humans had no magic before the portal

The Wynncraft Help Section confirms that humans were in Wynn before Frumans came:

Ok. I, for once, don't think it's Dernic. It may be connected to whatever race built the Door of Time

 

The Kingdom of Sand quest doesn’t refer to the emperor as non-human, and the mummy and the boss is still human (well, more like a wizard or demon but still part human). Plus it wouldn’t make sense that the Time Valley people would be on the other side of the province. There isn’t any indication of them either.
