Fighting in Eood Valley first began roughly 930 years ago, brought on by elven territorial expansion. Arlen Blacksmith, a dwarf in the area, was the first to notice flags of an elven nation over recognized dwarven land. After several failed peace talks, one which destroyed the building they were held in, extremists on both sides, - namely, everyone in the valley - began destroying structures, scorching land, and killing each other in the fields. After roughly a year of this volatile state, pressure from massive nations upon the region forced a peace. Resentment, however, yet simmered.

[+1 Vitality]. You are now at max, and the bandage is holding well enough for you to move and fight effectively.

Fayuma: "Good, good. Ye see that tower?"

She points off about 500 feet or so, to a massive tower rising out of the ground next to the forest.

"That's the home base of these 'ere Elemental Mages. Someone's been slaughtering 'em, so we're headin' in to see what's in there an' kill it. After that, we're gunna hop on a ship upriver to Kyuuvar. Got it?"

With that done, I go out into the city and start looting buildings.

 

Dez:"Got it. I'm assuming I'll get my equipment back. Also got any healing potions, I'll be more helpful if I can actually take hits"

 

20 minutes later, you're getting the fuck out of the remains of the area with a giant bag on your back, containing lots of coins and precious heirlooms, abandoned in the flames.

Fayuma: "Good point. Maros is in the next cart, he has some. Ask 'im when we get there... in about three seconds."

 

Do I know of any other cities in the area?

 

I grab my stuff and before leaving I say
Dez:"If we're fighting you should probably wake your mage" and head to the next cart and say to the first person I see there
Dez:"Fayuma sent me to see Maros to get potions, she said he would be in this cart"

3/5 of players that are supposed to be active haven't responded in some time. (Guy Fieri/Eradius is currently a special exception, though not for much longer)

All of your experiences so far are in this valley, and the Riverthrone is the only major settlement you've seen.

You're answered by a large, burly man, who introduces himself as Karun. His voice is unnecessarily loud, and incredibly high-pitched for someone his size.

Karun: "Hey! Maros! Some lizardguy's asking for you! Says he needs potions!"

A small, hunkered over figure looks up. Maros, presumably. He's small, a halfling or a hobbit or whatever they're called here. His voice, in contrast to Karun, is actually deeper than the average human, and is much quieter than that of his companion.

Maros: "Hmm.. hmm... I see. You're the one Fayuma was with, aren't you? Here are some potions. You look like you need them."

[+3 Minor Health Potions]

 

I drink 1 of the potions and go back to Fayuma and say
Dez:"I got some potions and am ready when you are"

 

I'm simply a traveling adventurer.

 

When you don't reply to the thread after a while, you stop getting notifications. Since I replied now I should be getting them once more.
Also even if you watch the thread, if you didn't respon to the thread you won't be getting notifications. It's really stupid, I know, so I suggest using @, to make our fellow rp-ers so the thread and after they respond everything should be fine.

OK. Hopefully, due to recent responses, the alerts should work this time.

A couple minutes of bone-crackling healing and pain later, you're standing in front of the open entrance to the tower. Accompanying you are Maros and Karun, along with 2 men in black cloaks. Fayuma is back in the cart, trying to get the wizard awake.

Man: "I have traveled the world for some time, and in the course of my job, have met some incredibly shady people. 'I'm simply a traveling adventurer'? Seriously?"

Noted. Either way, you're violently slapped awake by that woman in the bandanna from back at the warehouse.
It was such a nice nap, too.

Dashing into what looks like a cartographer's home (the burned map on the front door makes it obvious), you take the least damaged map you can find. It a bit singed around the edges, but it's still in great condition.

A) Through a low-lying pass to the west, headed towards Kyre Valley,
B) Upriver, again to Kyre,
C) Downriver, to the ocean, and
D) Through the forest to the north, if you're suicidal.

The man drives his knife into you, using a basic attack for 2 damage.
