How Does Loot Bonuses Work?

Ao recently, i got a build that i made myaelf for lvl 48-55. It gave me 121% loot bonus. What does this do?

 

It increases the quantity (amount) of items, emeralds, potions and other things dropped from mobs or spawned in a chest.

 

So, can you explain more? Like legendarys, rares, uniques, mythicals?

 

It affects every type. It just spawns more items for you, so overall you'll find more legendaries and possibly mythics.

 

Actually, in mobs loot bonus affects the quality of the items and not the quantity, on loot chests it affects quantity but it's pretty balanced.

That would make getting a mythic from a mob drop more likely than from a chest tho #balance?
