Edit fixed the problem it was not to do with this mod it was to do with another one i had

its sad because now when u have the mod and use the quest book my game crashes and i just downloaded it like 2 days ago ;/

 

A fix for the quest book is still in the works and will be out eventually

 

so its not because of the new update to the server? because it was working fine before the update

* Disabled fancy Quest book to prevent crashing (might fix it up for the new system at a later date)

* Added Area discovery support to the XP sidebar

* Fixed Locked items in banks not being able to be moved due to 1.17 update

* Updated item guide to hopefully be accurate again (well hopfully will be when the ItemAPI gets updated)

 

Kinda sad the update ruined basically half the mod but I'm happy its still being updated..
Ye I'm back if anyone wonders and no I wont continue SHCMWynn..

Suggestion:
Add an option in the book options to completely stop the disappearing of the side XP gained text..
If you disable it, You will see how much XP you have gained overall in this session which is amazing for grinders that are taking breaks to go to bank or some stuff..

 

Could you include an option to disable the XP bar text on the bottom if the player is level 101 or higher?

* Updated Questbook to hopfully work smoothly with the 1.17 update

* Changed War Attack Timer to change to green when inside of the terretory (will be blue when outside of the territory)

* Added option to change the Attack Timer countdown to slowly change colour based on how much time is left

* Fixed incorrect parsing of " in quest descriptions

* Removed Item sales (Thanks to dukio for allowing this to happen in the firstplace)

Hey! Great mod and in the most part works fine,
I have one rather irritating issue in which I cannot change any settings in the book thing. (clicking doesn't change the appearance or function of the switch)
Also, is this open source, can I get the source code somewhere?

 

Hey, me and my friend just downloaded this and we don't have the nameplates above items nor the highlight. Is it being worked on and is disabled or something? Because they helped a lot when I had enhanced and I've come to rely on them.

 

I havent thought about that but sure ill add it to the todolist and see what i can do

Thats a wierd issue, im not sure whats causing it. but it sounds like somhow its failing to save the settings to disk or somthing

And currently no the source code is not open at the moment

The ItemAPI recently had an update which among other things added 2 new sets of armour (lightly unobtainable in wynncraft itself) by the name of Blue Team and Red Team. Sadly both of these sets of armours have inconsistant formatting in their Armour Colour values and so the ItemDB creation within the mod crashes when it reaches them. Ive got a fix for this which im just waiting on curse to approve so i can post the changelog

Suggestion:
-Add an option to toggle the mod's redesigned quest book (so that people can decide whether to use Expansion's or Wynn's quest book)

 

Thanks for being such a great mod creator!
Is there a way to enable/disable things? In the mod settings, the 'Config' button for WynnExpansion is grayed out and I am unable to click it. Also, not sure if there is something I need to fix on my end, but dropping emeralds/eb/le don't show tags above them showing how many emeralds they are worth.

What happens if you have the latest version of Wynn Expansion but you have Forge and JourneyMap at 1.11.2?

This is the reason i have put a 1.11.2 version of the 0.027.c update out aswell, just use that one instead ;)

 

Emeralds not showing is a default false I believe and you need to change it in the mod options,
You can access mod options in the questbook(using keybind if it doesnt open) or the options keybind..

The config button requires a setup of the ConfigGuiFactory at the @mod tag:

Add to the @Mod tag brackets

Next create that class and implement IModGuiFactory

Add all methods the interface requires,
Replace HasConfigGui with true
Replace createConfigGui with a new instance of the questbook options gui
Replace mainConfigGuiClass with the [questbook options gui class].java

Annnd that should be it, clicking config will go to the options in the book..
