SPOILER What Happened To Ba(k)'al?

So maybe you know that one guy from "The Mercenary" quest where you go in the invaded barracks and assassinate him? ye that guy, "Ba'al" which sounds very similair to "Bak'al" (that new guy that explodes stuff en let dark stuff roam the lands).
which is also kinda remarkable since according to the wiki,
( https://wynncraft.gamepedia.com/Invaded_Barracks ) it says you have to assassinate "commander Takan" which is a completely new name, (it also says with a discovery https://imgur.com/a/t5x5m )
I don't know if this is intended or not or does that quest doesn't make any sense? (it to me it doesn't)

The new commander has taken over after Ba'al's assassination in "The Mercenary" quest. You don't assassinate commander takan. You assassinate commander Ba'al, who then becomes the new commander.

 

Ba'al's name was changed to Takan in order to prevent confusion between the two characters. There is no connection between them, especially if you look at the dates in which Bak'al performed his attacks.

 

It's because Ba'al and Bak'al sound way too close for comfort.

 

better notify the wiki team again ;)

 

Ba'al got mad that everyone kept confusing his name with Bak'al so he changed his name to Takan. Don't judge him.
