    Just a random idea. Probably gonna get shot down immediately... But what if the survivor from VIP Town was...

    The Scam Merchant.

    One of the new discoveries includes a cutscene where VIP town is destroyed. But what caught my eye was that there was only one survivor, Who could it be. Well, I do know that the Scam Merchant used to be in VIP town.

    I mean we know he's now retired on some Gavel beach. And he used to be in VIP town.

    So... Yeah, I think it sounds plausible and tell me if you know who the survivor was.

    I figured that it was supposed to just emphasize the destruction of Bak’al, or the survivor is actually important to the lore. We don’t know anyone in the lore that’s hundreds of years old though.
