Is Wither Head Bobs Mom?

So the title say's it all pretty much but I have a few reasons to why this might be true.

1. You can find bob's mother's tomb in a discovery next to decrepit sewers. There is a small ruin with bodies and a button and if you click the button a skeleton will lead to the discovery. If you do the parkour you get to this place and this text.

2. The grave is open implying that the thing in there got out.
3. The discovery is right next to the decrepit sewers dungeon.
4. If you do the decrepit sewers quest it will reference wither head as a she.
5. The at one point wither head asks you to release them so the sewers might be like another tomb or something of the sort, and this is possible because the corruption affect people and things in different ways.

 

After the first hopper in the decrepit sewers, in the pipe between that room and the parkor, they changed the dialouge of witherhead. I don't exactly remember what she says now, but it does imply that she was one of the victims of the attack on the sewers. Long story short, Wither Head is a female corrupted human who died during the attack on the sewers. Might be Bobs mom, might not be

 

Bob: "What even are you, you horrible person?!"
Witherhead: "ur mom lol"

Now that you mention it, I did find it odd how the Wither head was mentioned as “she.” I’m going to say 50/50 on this.

 

I'm not even kidding my friend pointed this out like an hour ago and I was about to make a thread on this exact same thing. Damn.

Yeah, I mean it makes sense. Witherhead was referred to as a she, and in the dialogue she says something about them not being able to save her. Coupled with the fact that Bobs Mom's tomb isn't closed anymore and is empty, and being located in/near the sewers, well... Bobs Mom = Witherhead.

I would argue this with all the Dern/Bob connections, but all of them have to do with stuff before Bob's Mom's death, or stuff irrelevant to Bob's Mom.

It's VERY rare that I ever see a theory that I actually agree with, and even rarer that I fully agree with it to this extent.

All the Dern/Bob's Mom connections would explain why Witherhead is so powerful...

As shown from lore and the recent discoveries, bob was not born with magic, he learnt it.
Along with that, according to ye olde Grian lore, his mother died in childhood, and he killed Momo, his foster parent, himself. - She made him do it.

isn't the corruption what CAUSES the undead though?

 

I don't know. Before this update it was canon that waves upon waves spewed from the portal, but in the new zombie dungeon quest, it says the dungeon is the source of the zombies. That might mean that the skeletons come from the skeleton dungeon, but the portal is the source of corruption.

His mother died when he was born, yes. And that was in the sewers, where the grave was found. I don't get your point. And in the old Grian lore you are mentioning, he never kills Momo.

You sure there? Your two counterpoints don't make sense...

 

I remember the super old original Witherhead was just a Skeleton with a Wither Skeleton Skull as a helmet.
