SPOILER First Part Of Dern Visible From The Mesa

Hello, I was exploring the map searching for discoveries after the new update and I went to the southern end of the Mesa. I used the teleport spell to go to the second plateau just above Rymek where there's a small burning village and explored the area.
When I reached the highest point in the boarder near the southeastern corner of the map, I looked southwest and I could see far away quickly just before the chunks unloaded.

Well actually Road to Dern will be in 8 months.
Dern itself will probably be in 16 months, if the pattern stays consistent.

I'll be old by time that happens.

The corrupted betrayal mentions a whole new realm thats just gray with slime, probably not dern. Not to mention it was made at around the same time Bob was getting famous, too new to be linked with dern.

 

The abandoned mines discovery is actually an underground part of Dern. The miners quickly realized: "oh shit, this stuff is WORSE than the corruption" and sealed it up and never went back to it.

I have no clue as to what that realm Skylaar was living in is. What I do believe it is just a storage space/world/realm/dimension that was overtaken by the Realm of Shadow, and Skylaar had gone to this place before and extracted that vial of darkness.

 

Vial of darkness? Dont remember any of that from Corrupted Betrayal

 

The label was messed up and such, but it said that the vial had turned the bottom of the box black and you can see the two letters "DA" before it turns into gibberish.

pretty sure it's a vial of Darkness. Which is something you should NOT experiment with. Hell, Skylaar could've brought about all sorts of terrible things because of just that vial.

 

Oh thought that was to do with the DNA shenanigans

Noice... So this basically confirms that the Gateway Island realm is Dern, although it was pretty obvious anyway. Is there going to be lime green stuff in it as well? The Dern weapon skins are black and lime green, don't think there's any purple.

Possible connection is the realm that Slykaar transported himself into. That place can pass off as a part of Dern.
(Notwithstanding the whole difference of Dern and The Realm of Darkness/Shadows)

 

Are we sure on that? Because Slykaar mentions a dark place with a dark god, and mentions bob...

 

I think thats self worship, but then at the same time I didnt read all the dialogues. Let me go watch a video on it or something
