    Ok.

    Node 1 passes

Node 2 fails. It dies (and good thing too. You don't want these guys at low health)

Basically. They can suicide and explode, but they won't do it unless they are hurt.

How far would I have to move to be in javelin range of Node 1? And how far for Node 4?

They are both within your long range.

If you move to like where Kyelas is, but on your path, you are in normal range of Node 4

You would need to move upwards onto Kyelas's path to be in normal range of Node 1

I go to Node 4 and throw my javelin.
    Attack Roll: 15 + 6 = 21
    Damage Roll: 3 + 3 = 6
I then recall it with Weapon Bond.

You could throw it again, because extra attack, if you wanted to. You'd just have to call it back again on your next turn.

Ok, it goes right through the node, but you can tell the Node is very destabilized from it

I know. The problem is mainly with the bottomless pits. I'll explain:
    • With throwing once per turn and then recalling, there's no risk of losing the javelin, but I only get one attack per round.
    • If I throw, recall, and throw again, then the javelin is with the enemy, having the risk of being broken or falling into the pit. Plus, every round after that, I'd only be able to recall and immediately throw again, both leaving it with the enemy and having only one attack per round.
In conclusion, throwing once per turn is the safest option, and doesn't sacrifice much damage output.

Exactly. Throwing and then recalling doesn't risk it falling into the pit. If it misses and starts to fall, I can recall it and keep it with me to throw next round.

I meant the thing about the pit being a loop. If that changes anything (probably doesn't)

The javelin would take a while to call back, and might be on a different plane of existence while passing through the pit.

    Fair point.

But for a different plane of existence, you kind of ARE in a demiplane rn.
