Liun:''Okay let me se if i can pick up on his tracks''
I turn to Erevan and say
Liun:''This might take a while mind informing the others?'' and start looking for tracks that a teenager might make

Humanoid. What did you expect, Ooze?

You don't see tracks, aside from those you, Erevan, and the boy made, but a bit of cloth is stuck on a branch not far ahead. The cloth looks similar to the boy's shirt.

 

If he would be an ooze that would be one messed up family

I go up to the cloth and ask the boy
Liun:''Is this from your brothers shirt?''

 

Boy: "Maybe? I don't know."

 

Knaal:" We should probably wait for the other guys until we continue."

 

Liun:''At least we found something''
Does any more pieces of cloth or tracks seem to be further ahead

 

Erevan: "Sure"
He begins to run back to the others.

 

Perception.

Okay. They're still waiting there.
Mercenary: "What is it?"

Erevan: "The boy is looking for his brother. Liun is trying to help him. He said it might take a while."

 

You find more traces of Veren, lining a bit of a path.

Mercenary: "Waste of time, if you ask me. Let's just keep going."

 

Erevan: "So. You want to leave this boy to almost certainly never see his brother again? Perhaps Liun will figure it out alone but I don't know."

 

Mercenary: "We're going to stop that murderer. I'm not getting paid to help some random kid."

 

Erevan: "What do you guys think?"

 

Liun:''It looks like he went this way stay behind me we dont know whats out there also if you can try to stay quiet''
I follow the path try to stay out of sight from anything that might be at the ned of the path

Eventually, about 5 minutes later, you come to another forest clearing. There appears to be a camp set up there, but you can't see too well at this distance.

 

Knaal:"I agree, but Liun is already helping the boy now. I have no idea where he went so we might have to wait for him"

 

I motion to the boy to stay there and sneak to the camp trying to stat low to the ground

 

Erevan: "Okay then... But I still am not fully at ease... I suppose Liun will handle himself though."

There are three tents. Around a small, empty fire are four rough-looking people with daggers at their belts. One is holding a tied-up boy who looks a lot like the one you were traveling with.
Holder: "Found this kid wanderin' in our camp."
Holder: "Didn't have anythin' of use, so..."
The bandit holding him pulls out a coin.
Holder: "This coin to the one who makes 'im scream the loudest!"
