Mercenary: "So, everyone ready to go?"

The mercenary pulls out a torn and somewhat outdated map of the regions surrounding Medina Village. He points to a wooded area near the edge of Lake Gondathor.
Mercenary: "The murderer's there."
Mercenary: "Let's go."
He begins to lead the way out into the wilderness. You all follow, right?

 

Yes I follow, let's just assume everyone does.

After an hour or two of walking, with Luneth following, you arrive at the edge of a wooded area. A few minutes later, walking through the woods, you hear the rustling of bushes, and a human teenager holding a woodcutter's axe too big for him rushes out through some dense scrubs and starts running through a clearing in the forest just ahead of you.

 

Erevan: Stop right there, son!
OOC: He wasn't calling him his own son.

I try to see if hes being chased or chasing anything

Kid: "Wh-who are you?"
He stops and turns to face you, holding the axe in a clumsy defensive position.

I'd say Investigation for that, not Perception.

Boy: "I... I have to go now!"

 

I draw my axe and see if the mercenary does anything.

 

The boy takes off and runs back into the forest. The mercenary looks at him oddly for a moment.

 

Liun:''Go ahead i'll follow him for a bit and catch up to you guys''
I start going the same direction as the boy ran trying to stay hidden
