Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Why are you trying to stop me from meeting Solis? What are your plans?"

I flip the switch on the staff to expose the blades

 

"Because we're trying to ground the Galers!" They admit.
His companions glare at him.
"You're not suppos'd'ta reveal everything, nitwit!"
Sgavrinn spits on the naysayer, growling (though it sounds more endearing than intimidating)

 

"Grounding the Galers? Are you insane? Do you realize how sacred the flight of the Galers is to the rest of this entire planet, you absolute madmen?"

I stick the bladed tip of the staff behind the speaker's leg

 

"G-gaaaah..."
"Aradius, keep him alive. If he wants to talk, then he's better off healthy than tortured."

 

"If we wan't him to talk, then he best not be able to leave."

I take the staff and slash his achilles tendon, making him unable to walk

 

A vine stops you.
"He's tied to a tree. Do you not see the vines attached to literally all of them?"

 

I sigh

"Just...leave them here for later. They'll talk in time."

I storm off in a huff, kinda mad that I was such an idiot

 

"If your regiment's here, can you get them to escort the prisoners?" She calls out after you.

 

"Keep guards around them, but do not let them leave the tree."

I leave the tree again

 

"I don't have any escort which is why I'm asking you to go get your soldiers!" Ragnyon half-shouts, exasperated.

 

"All my soldiers are at the village! I'll go retrieve them when I go talk to Solis."

I return to Nemmek and prepare to ride

 

"That's what I asked you to do!" She calls back.
"Just... just go!"

Nemmek snorts as you approach.

 

"Nemmek, we need to go see Solis. We also need to get away from Raygyon for a while."

I mount Nemmek and ride to the village

 

You come across one of the soldiers on your way to the village.
"M-mister Aradius, we heard screaming. Is everything okay?"

 

"Everything is fine. Now get back to the village, Raygyon is waiting for you."

I continue on my way to the village

 

"She didn't make it there yet. Did you see her on your way?"

 

"She landed back at the camp. She'll see you when you arrive."

 

"If you say so..."
They turn and ride off ahead of you.

For whatever reason, it seems Nemmek would rather walk for a bit.

 

"A cliff near the water, right?"

 

"Yeah. You could get your water view, and I could be not near the water."
