Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

In the morning, probably. Gram should be able to get by at this point.

 

"Alright. Get a landing area ready. Raygyon needs a lot of space."

 

"We know about her dragon. He's more nimble than you think. Still, we'll have one ready. Anything else we should know about?"

 

"Nothing else. Just keep lookout for any Genesians. They shall not be treated kindly if found."

 

"Death to those who disturb the winds." The commander salutes.

 

"Agreed. May the winds guide you gently."

I leave the commander, and find a small clearing to meditate and have another vision.

 

The next clearing you arrive at, you hear the friendly camp being set up, and another set of footsteps...

 

"Let's wait till tomorrow then."

Before I begin the visions, I look for the source of the footsteps.

I'm gonna go grab my scythe before something bad happens. And then see if I can use her daggers to cut the rope in my physical body.

 

She keeps bowing her head, waiting.
"...You gonna finish the job, or what?"

They're fairly big. That either implies that Ragnyon is coming, or there's another group marching... and the direction the sound is coming from, it's sounding like the latter option.

The trees are a bit thick. You can't see anything from here, but you know that whoever it is, they can't see you either.

Ihra sighs, hugging Shadow Stephanie tighter.
"...Maybe it's just a sign that I bit off more than I could chew. We made a bunch of little victories in the past, and now we went big and busted..."

Well, I don't know about you, but I've had enough of all the adrenaline rushing through us. If I wasn't inside you and slept when you did, I'd be sleeping right now.

 

I'm prioritizing getting my body free over killing her.
"Get me out of here and I'll kill you later."

 

"You untied the spectral tether. That's all I had tying you to the safehouse."

In that case I slit her throat with my sycthe.

 

He sits up and looks in the direction of where Anne was sleeping.
"Is she still asleep?"

 

Her spirit withers away.

Half of her entourage scatters, the other half surrenders.
"Please... she's dead, so our contract means nothing..." One begs,

She's still curled up and lets out a snore, so she's still sleeping.

 

"Baby steps, Ihra. You can't go from little town victories to the world champion." Shadow Stephanie says.

 

"Looks like she'll be alright."
He lays down, trying to get some sleep.

 

You drift off, rhythmic waves washing around your neck.


No dreams. Just sleep.

You wake shortly after to water washing over your face, and you accidentally inhale a little bit.

"The others should know that, before we make the mistake again... I just can't believe I lead them out into that much danger and never thought that could happen..."
