Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Okay, if you think so."
He enjoys the water some more.

 

It's peaceful, though your back is starting to get a bit sore from laying on the axes.
Rema seems to be drifting off to sleep.

 

Eve burns the flowers, before going back to the palace.

 

He sits straight and unties the axes. He then places them on the sand next to him.
"Alright."
He lays back down.

 

Only the black flower remains.

Ihra's still asleep in the garden.

Better. You sink in a bit more, but better.
The water ripples around your ears. It's an odd sensation, slightly uncomfortable.

 

Eve ignores Ihra entirely.

 

She wakes up hours later, looking around at the guards wearily.

 

The guards point toward the gates.

"Out." One of the guards says.

 

Ihra keeps looking around.
"...What did you do to her?"

 

The guard just narrows his eyes.

 

Ihra finally stops looking around once she's looking straight up into the sky.
"...What changed?"

 

"Get. Out." The guard says, pointing toward the gate again.

 

"And if I say no, you're willing to kill off your king's best friend along with an entire reality?" Ihra asks, meeting the guard's gaze.

 

"It's in your best interests to leave before anything bad happens." The guard says, eyes angry.

 

"Ugh, it's getting in my ears."
He tries to get it out by putting his finger in his ear.

 

"I'll leave if you let me apologize to the queen, in person."

That just pushes the water further in.

Now it's really uncomfortable.

 

The guards share glances, before the guard heads inside.

 

Ihra waits, looking back up at the sky again.

 

Stars twinkle in the night sky, surprisingly visible for such a dark realm.

The guard eventually comes out of the palace again.

"The queen will see you." The guard says.

 

Ihra watches for another minute before heading towards the guard.
"Where will I meet her?"
