Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Our execution's taking that long?" Miorah asks, eyebrow raised.
Ihra lets out a snore.

 

"I take it you know her better than I do, besides she did sound convincing."

 

"Are you going to move or am I going to have to throw you through those gates myself?" The guard says, Miorah and Ihra already being telekinetically lifted off the ground.

 

Ihra's staff prevents her from being lifted, though a good chunk of the garden grounds gets pulled up with roots coming out of Miorah's feet.
"I'll move when I'm told when our execution is. If you yank me out of the ground, you're gonna rip up half the garden."

"Well, you still have to talk to her later. Nobody's spoke to her as harshly as you have in the past."

 

The ground is put back into place as the guard whistles to another of the stronger looking guards.

"Forest type. Your deal." The guard says to the other guard.

Miorah's roots begin to rapidly wither away, as Miorah feels herself wither a little.

 

Her roots spread throughout the entire city and beyond, regrowing as fast as they wither.
"Come on. It's a simple question; when do I die? You tell me that, and I'll let go."

 

"Think a banishment is necessary? She's becoming a bit of a nuisance." The other guard asks.

"I may as well notify the queen, she won't be happy about more troublemakers though." The guard says, slamming Miorah down as he heads back into the palace.

"Tell her about twiglet here and her roots, alright?" The other guard calls, before heading off to his post.

 

"You're going to banish me for asking when you're killing me? What the hell?"

 

The guards are gone.

 

"Don't worry, I will. Just.. not now."

 

Miorah just waits, Ihra still peacefully asleep.

Rema nods, looking back towards Gram and remaining silent.

 

Eve eventually exits the palace, a huge metal hammer that seems too big to be practical in her hands.

"Oh, it's you." Eve says.

 

Miorah nods before taking a step to the side.
"There. Question answered, roots gone. That wasn't so hard, was it?"

 

"I have to obey my orders." Eve shrugs, before heavily hitting Miorah with the hammer, the force enough to launch her a good ways into the city if it doesn't destroy her.

 

She scatters into pollen, reforming on the other side of the palace gate.

 

Bardock lays down and enjoys the waves.

 

Eve sprints over, leaping the gate and smashing Miorah into the ground as she comes down.

 

The water's a bit cold, but you can feel yourself sink a bit in the sand as the waves roll over your body, the water rolling through your hair as it retreats back into the ocean.

It'd be a serene moment except for the fact you forgot to lose the axes before laying down.

She explodes into pollen again, reforming into two bodies.
"Did the queen specify death by oversized hammer?"

 

"I'm not allowed to answer that." Eve says as she smashes one Miorah before spinning and hitting the other.

 

She reforms again.
"Oh, come on. I stopped loitering."
