Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"She's dead." One of the guards says, sounding serious.

 

She hesitates.
"...I suppose I have indeed caused irreparable damage already." She sighs, turning away.

"She what?" Ihra asks, startled.
Miorah looks at the guard, shocked.

 

"I'm not telling you to leave. You're staying here."

 

She seems a bit startled.
"I am a guardian, I can leave whenever I so choose." She retorts, insecure.

 

"What happened to feeling sorry? I have something in mind."

 

"I never said I stopped feeling bad. Come on, now... what do you suggest I do?"

 

"You're staying, and you are going to help us take care of Gram until Rema returns with her help."

 

"That won't be long now." She says, stretching a wing.
A breeze passes by, carrying the scent of the ocean towards you.

 

"What do you mean?"
He looks up.

 

Rema and eight other dragons are approaching, though they all slow when they notice the ziz.
"I believe it's best I take my leave."

 

The guard laughs.

"Look at her, she actually believed it!" The guard says, looking at the other guard, who just keeps his stern expression.

 

He nods.
"Sure. But I still want to have a talk with you later."

 

Ihra glares at your guard.
"Well, I'm sorry. Maybe I should threaten to kill your friends too?" Miorah asks, nonchalant.

"Call upon the winds and I will return." She says, flying off.

Rema lands, the other eight rushing over to Gram and looking at his wounds.
"Sorry I took so long..." Rema pants.

 

The guard snorts.

"What are you going to do? Give them hayfever?" The guard asks.

 

"Or make them liquify from the inside out." Miorah shrugs. "I like mine better, but I'm open to suggestions."

 

"Oooh, scary!" The guard says mockingly.

 

Miorah rolls her eyes, replacing some of the guard's blood with a tranquilizing sap.

 

"It's fine, don't worry. I'm just glad you made it back with help."

 

Rema nods, Siln taking a step towards you.
"Thank you." He whispers.

 

He nods at him.
"Think he's gonna be okay, Rema?"
