It'd be rather overpowered if Strength and Dexterity stacked. The difference between Strength and Dexterity is either doing x% extra damage every hit, or having an y% chance do deal 100% extra damage on your hit. In simpler terms, deal a little more damage with every hit, or deal double damage every few hits.

If Strength and Dexterity stacked, you'd either be able to deal a lot or a ton of damage every few hits. Let's say you have 50% bonus damage from strength and it stacks with Dexterity. This means you'd deal +150% damage every few hits, as well as +50% every other hit. If it doesn't stack, then - say you have 100 base damage - you'd deal 150 damage per hit, and 300 damage every dexterity hit.

    Does it not?
Last time I checked it did stack, it’d be weird if it did not now.
Crit’s dmg boost isn’t multiplicative to the total dmg of yours, so there’s no difference in terms of average dmg between those sp distribution.
You can distribute your sp to what your play style or gear requires.

You did it wrong, as I said Crit doesn’t multiply to your total dmg output. Rather, it “adds” 100% boost. Let’s say when you have both 50% Str and Dex, and 100 base damage. You do 150 dmg normally, and when Dex activates the boost becomes 150% and then you do 250 dmg. If we take the average output that’s 200 damage so that matches 50%+50% damage boost.

Last time I heard they didn't stack was on the wiki a few years ago, so it's probably outdated. When was the last time you checked?

I actually said this earlier in the post. I didn't know whether it stacked (like adding 100% to your strength, as you said) or multiplied after strength, so I proposed both options.

But since you get a lower boost everytime you lv up stre/dex technically half and half would be best ty
