So what are we going to do when people get too many black market items?

 

Make a new tier called white market items.

 

Then make a tier above that called 'you need to chill on opening up loot crates and actually play wynncraft'.

But... what about the Sealed Letters? Will those still exist? Is that info still canon? If not, we lose a lot of good info on all the Bob lore.

Also, the relics themselves were interesting, as their lore connections were mysterious...

Do we have a reason for this change?

And, does this include powder relics?

 

It probably includes powder relics. I assume they removed them because they conflicted with discoversies in that there wasn’t enough hidden spots for them.

The hidden letters weren’t that canon and pretty vague, so we will get 10x more lore out of this than the letters being removed anyway.

 

So far the new discoveries are only in the Wynn Plains if IIRC...

And the Hidden Letters were 100% canon, despite being vague.

We might get more lore, sure, but will we get the same lore?

Also, what happens with Gateway Island? Does that change due to this?

 

Oh, I thought someone said otherwise. I assume they will either incorporate it into the discoveries or just change it entirely. Idk about your other questions :-/

 

Maybe there will be different ways to obtain the sealed letters?

 

I sure hope so. That sh*t is the backbone of almost every single Bob theory ever.

Without it, Nilrem does not exist (except for the Gateway Island Letter), we can't tie Bob to Gateway Island, there's no way to know the tomb is fake (which causes problems of Bob having too many heads in existence), we don't know the reason for Bob disappearing (which screws over most Dern connections), we don't know what happened with the Animals except for the little bit told in Reincarnation, etc...

 

Inb4 sealed letters cost a stack of LE each. :/

I mean before you got them fro relics right...that in itself is pretty odd i think.. so maybe they are properly hidden in some caves as explorable content? :o (btw bob never recieved the letters did he? )

 

Bob created the letter. He wasn’t the one who received them

 

As stated, Bob wrote the letters, and sent them to Nilrem. In order for the whole "One worthy of succeeding Bob" the letter was scattered, so someone may find it and piece together what happened, but only someone worthy, IIRC

 

Oh boy sorry for being so unknowledgeable lol i completely messed that up my head. Has been too long since i last read them >.<
