I turn to go talk to Devarra

 

"...Garnet? No, Amethyst! Or...was it Pearl?" Abigail asks.


"Because someone Aj wanted to save is someone we want to then kill." Shadow Stephanie says, rolling her eyes.

 

"Need something to drink or eat?"

 

Ragnyon nods, dropping to her knees and sitting down.

She's busy petting the dragon, still.

"Did y-you get something?"

Ruby sighs.
"Don't worry about it... I'll figure things out."


"You guys do have a record of genocides, betrayals, and murders. I at least respect you don't try and hide your race's title as demons."

 

"Do you like fruit? I got some fruits."

 

"A-anything works, really..."

 

"Let's see what we got."
He grabs an apple.
"Open up."

 

Gram coughs before opening his mouth, giving you an annoyed look.

 

Move in to take her out.

 

He giggles and places the apple in his mouth.
"There you go. Want to some water too?"

 

"I'm sorry." Abigail says, saddened.


"We embrace it, it just makes it hard to forge a relationship we're not faking to backstab." Shadow Stephanie says casually.

 

"You're doing what you can. That's all I'm asking."


"Figures. What do you actually plan to do with her? She's got no family to go back to, but I figure you're no stranger to that situation."

Gram bites down, bits of apple falling to the ground as he swallows the rest mostly whole.
"Yes... how much more?"

You've got no spectral weapons, and neither does she. You'll have to think of a way to-

The string is spectral. It's tied to the neck of your soul. If you could somehow slip out and tie her to it...

 

"We got a full basket. Want me to just empty it in your mouth?"

 

"Not all at once... and I meant water. Unless you have a really well-made basket..."

 

"I'll try not to forget anything else." Abigail says.


"Treat her as a special guest. See what she wants to do, where she wants to go, who she wants to see and try to meet those requests." Shadow Stephanie explains.

 

"Oh. I got water. Water first then?"
He grabs his quiver, which hopefully still has water in it.

 

It does.
"Preferably, yes."

"Don't worry about it too much."


She nods.
"Well, then. Should we actually introduce ourselves?"

 

"A-Alright, I won't." Abigail says, clearly worried.


Shadow Stephanie just shrugs.

 

"Bottoms up!"
He pours the water in Gram's mouth.
