No, but once everyone enters I'll explain what you see. I want everyone to be in there when I start it.

(I was debating making a map, but it's easier with no map, and he even said "theres no map" so...)

 

The audio said to stare into the inky blackness. So.. nothing happens?

 

Nothing happens (that's kind of with the "don't look back" line.)

Anyway.

Spoiler: The Attic Intro

You go through the door, and find yourself standing on a wooden platform. It's floating in the air. It's big enough to hold the whole party, and is attached to the wall. A single 10-foot-wide wooden walkway extends forward.

As you look around, you see that other than the wall with the door where the wooden platform is attached, there's literally nothing else. Just blackness. This might help you visualize:



Ignore the floating box in that picture. But you get the idea. A literal just grey stone wall extending up, down, left, and right as far as the eye can see, the platform and wooden walkway extending forward. Literally nothing but infinite blackness all around.

Did someone mention something about it being too small of an area for Althaios to fly?

 

Ti'Lin:"It's bigger? That's surprising."

 

I was debating putting it in an extradimensional space, meaning you would need to leave your bag outside, but I think I'm gonna go with the demiplane explination

 

Erevan: "Well, let's go. No flying. We can't leave the wooden track."

 

Yevor: "So, do we stare in now?"
He continues staring in. The Lux Blade sparks a little.

 

Spoiler: This is assuming you follow the path

As you go forwards, heaps of just stuff start appearing, piles starting from a ground so low it's not visible. Some pile up to around your guys level, some go much higher.

As you continue, the piles of stuff become almost walls, all about 5-10 feet away from the path (so it's still possible to fall off). In irregular intervals upon the pathway, small little stone or wooden offshoots go into very narrow like 3-foot-wide openings in the piles of stuff (I'll draw it on the map).

Oh, right, I actually forgot. As you stare into the darkness, little lights appear around the pathway and dance around it, giving dim light

 

I look at the tops of the bric-a-brac.

Yevor: "Huh. Neat."

 

As you look at the piles of stuff around, you can actually see the tops of the piles. But, you don't see anything of importance...

OOC: Yet

 

I say: "Following the offshoots is probably fine, but only if they're made of wood. No stone paths allowed."

 

Yevor: "Why not?"

 

"The rules. 'Stay on the wooden track, and don't listen to the sprits.'"
