you might want to be a bit more ahead than that...

since you're on poni, maybe consider going to the plains and sos chaining chansey? it's one of the most efficient ways to level, and might get you a step ahead so kommo-o is easier

Seriously I can't beat Hau. Once you get to Olivia everything just becomes a billion levels higher. Just between Olivia and the Hau fight which is separated by a grand total of 1 battle (and that's just against UB-01) Hau is already 2 levels higher than Olivia.

Is this my punishment for not using EXP share?

 

I am a bit disappointed that Hau is giving you trouble. And yes, this is punishment...

 

Dude's Brionne is legit 6 levels above my Dartrix who was able to stomp Totem Lurantis. There wasn't that big of a gap. And the only wild pokemon around my level give garbage XP.

 

Well, grinding is fun when your Rowlett is always 20+ levels ahead of everyone.

Well, rest in spaghetti. Never forgetti... but why turn off Exp. Share? I just use it so that the little XP I earn adds up to levels.

 

i really dont understand why you all think the game is hard
my mons were overleveled the entire time and i didnt grind at all
i just took my time, battled every trainer, did every sidequest and i was able to two shot pretty much every boss (thanks to super effective z moves)

Lol just cheesed the Electric Totem pokemon so hard. Was like 5 levels above my team so I just had my Alolan Raichu spam double team and psychic and managed to whittle it down slowly. Gonna need to grind though cause the next trial is ghost so Raichu will get wrecked.

OK in reality fucking shit game is hard when you don’t catch any Pokémon to use. I usually brute force my way through battles but I had actually to strategize by using Gyarados and my Suefing Pikachu to beat Totem Kommo-o all the way to Ultra Necrozma. Zoroark real MVP with illusion and laughing at Photo Geyser that Ultra Necrozma kept using. Now in the process of getting more teammates. I need two more suggestions? Decidueye, Zoroark, Lycanroc, Naganadeel.
