"Ya know this place is gonna burn down. If you're not a cultist, then you're surrounded in a burning building. If you are one, which I suspect is true from all the corpses, then you're probably being left to die in here. I'd suggest you hurry on out."

"Here take my bag. I'll carry them out in the hopes that they can be saved. Feel free to use anything in said bag."

 

I continue to loot Lerens body after that I check the bag for anything of use to me

 

Packing for the trip has been completed, so I am posting a schedule announcement. I am flying out to visit family for thanksgiving, so I will not be available to post until the closing hours of Saturday, November 25th.

I'm back.

He moves his neck back just in time. The point of your blade is mere inches from his neck, yet you are at the limit of your reach. He takes one of his knives and attempts to stab your right arm.

The man's visibly shaking, and you can feel his body temperature plummeting.

The robes fly off as you tear through the enemy. There was a caster, some kind of stealth assassin, and a warrior in plate. The caster had basically no armor and was impaled with extreme prejudice, the assassin is in the rafters somewhere, and the man in plate is stumbling around, dizzy and blinded.

The guy in the coat tears the knife out of his leg and throws it back at you, missing wildly due to a lack of training/disorientation.

Yeah... apparently all these people are good for is fighting, as the buckets of water they and the surrounding townspeople have gotten have little effect. As for potions, people keep saying their friend over there has one, and that guy is saying their friend over there has one, etc.

The rocks weigh hundreds of pounds, and this is a good situation to have near-max skillpoints in strength. Underneath, however, you see the crushed remains of black armor and a giant cape, no longer swirling with galaxies. Strangely, there's no corpse inside the armor.

Leren's kind of a charred corpse right now. He still has a remarkably unburned book, though. The wand, too, is highly resilient to damage.

I'll take the book and wand from Leren and from the bang since I'm extremely hungry I'll eat 1 fish, then try to steal the scroll and gtfo

 

I grab one of the cultists and place delyed bomb spell on his robe.
Eradius: Yuo're indestructable now, go get them tiger."
I tell him to go kill that fucker who set me ablaze, and when he gets close enough I'll detonate the bomb.

I step forward and thrust at his chest.

 

I'll assume you just take the bag sling it over your shoulder or something. The warehouse is a near impenetrable inferno, and the accelerated healing from your recent potion is getting slower and slower...
You vault towards the door, nearly making it before a large explosion behind you throws you on the ground, heavily injuring and immobilizing you. The good news is that you've been blown up to the outside of the warehouse, and are no longer on fire.

The assailant, a weird lizardman with bluish scales, nearly makes it out of the door before your naive cultist ruins his plan. The explosion propels the lizardman past you out of the warehouse, and he lands in an injured heap.

Weird Guy: "NO! I'm going to kill you, mouse, and it'll be s-*shtick*"

I'll pretend that I died, but if anyone comes close I'll blast them with fire

I tell one of the cultists to go check his body, and if he doesn't I'll make him "indestructible" too.

 

Well that guy's pretty much dead, after I blast one fire bolt I'll attempt to charm Eradius because I think he's the leader and say
Dez:"Why are you sending your men at me aren't we allies? Help me I can't move"

 

I push one of the cultist in front of me.

 

I take the gold, metal bar, necklace, scarf, and about 18 throwing knives.
Thorston: "Like I said. If you didn't leave, you would die."
