Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Nothing falls through with him, not even a speck of dust.

 

"Alright... that turned out better than expected." He thinks.

 

"Well, Praecantatia does live here." Gaia says, heading onto the forest.

 

Yeah. I guess being Mr. Nice Guy pays off sometimes.

"Right, goddess of magic. I wonder why your reality has one... mine doesn't." Gaia says, following.

 

"Your reality doesn't have a god of magic? Who keeps it in balance?" Gaia asks. The forest is teeming with wildlife, the trees healthy.

 

"Magic doesn't really need to keep itself in balance. It flows through and leaks from the fabric of our reality itself - in fact, it's almost like our reality sustains itself on magic."

 

"It seems a little dangerous not to have someone in control of it though." Gaia says as she heads through the forest, trying not to damage too many plants.

 

"I think it would be more dangerous if someone was."
Gaia transforms to her faerie body to crush fewer things.

 

"Why?" Gaia asks, confused.

 

"If there was a goddess of magic, then they would have power over the entirety of the reality itself."

 

"Isn't that more a god of space?" Gaia asks.

 

"That's my point. If there was a god of magic, they would also have control over space and nearly every being in our reality."

 

"So you don't have a god of space either?" Gaia asks, puzzled.

 

I check for any items inside drawers and stuff.

 

"Hehe, it does."
He looks around.
"So.. should we return to Gram or wait for the woman?"

 

"No, not really."

I think we should wait. Gram's asleep, isn't he?

Enough food for a week, and a few pots, pans, and other kitchenware. A few kitchen knives, but they don't seem to be very sharp.

 

"Wow, our realities are really different." Gaia says, surprised.

 

"Yep."
He stretches a bit.
"Wanna look around?"

 

Sure. Not like I can explore on my own, anyways.

"Yeah... that's for sure."

 

Gaia decides to focus on getting through the forest.
