Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Well, once again, Aj's not very good with punishing people he knows."

 

"I can see why you'd fear your form, though surely you are able to protect your heart as much as you would be able to if it were in your body?" Nymphaeria asks.

 

"Not quite as well. My other form protects it much better."

"He's threatened to kill her multiple times."

 

"I mean, with actually doing it. There's a vast difference between saying something and doing it, even with threats."

 

"Well, you'll have no need to fear your heart being damaged while you're in here. You're protected." Nymphaeria says happily.

 

He walks around, looking for either a river/pond or an animal. He stops if he finds one of those.

 

"Ok yes, thank you for your service."

I lay down and fall asleep again

 

"True. I figure he'll kill her eventually."

You wind up passing out again, dreaming of Nemmek falling through the floor.

There's a river nearby, but the water is somewhat murky.

"Thank you, lady Nymphaeria. I appreciate the hospitality."

 

“I’d make a bet that he won’t.”

 

"We'll see. He's not big on having his deepest secrets leaked."

 

"Anyone wouldn't be."
Pause.
"Excluding anyone without any deep secrets."

 

"True."

 

Nymphaeria smiles in response, happy.

 

There's silence for a bit.
"Well, it was nice meeting you, Miorah."

 

Gaia looks around.
"Well... I suppose I do owe you for the intrusion. Still, I need to ask one thing... Would you be willing to help a few of my children find more stable homes?"

"Same, Voidfiller. I should probably stop being lazy."

 

"And I should go figure out what kind of tabs this Alice person has on me."

 

"Ask the shadow palace guard about her."

 

Voidfiller nods.
"Thanks."
He quickly walks off, finishing his pretzel.

 

She heads towards the library.

 

Voidfiller's taking the same path, heading to the Shadow Realm portal.
