Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"It is very pleasant to meet you, Gaia. You must be very busy if you need to serve both roles." Nymphaeria says, drawing closer to Gaia. Nymphaeria's silken robes drag across the water, though they don't appear to become wet.

 

She sighs.
"You know, I could just ask Emerald and Alice for any documents they have on you."

"Thank you, but I fear the worst. My reality is war-torn, and though some of your Gaia's children fought bravely to keep me from being enslaved by mind control, they separated me from my people in order to save my life." She sighs. "I hope I will not find myself with excess amounts of free time as a result."

 

"You probably should."
He nods.
"And, who's Alice?"

 

"I am very sorry to hear that. No war is easy, I wish your children safety." Nyphaeria says, looking a little saddened by the news.

 

"I'm better now, yes. Now, may I go see Devarra? It's very important."

 

"One of Emerald's sisters."

"I desperately hope that I still have children to return to..." She sighs before shaking her head.
"...Complaining is not why I wanted to visit. I simply wanted to see how things were in a better place."

The surgeon shakes his head.
"No, you risk passing out in the middle of the road."

 

"Ah, alright."

 

"Then please tell me, what time is it?"

 

"I am certain my Gaia shall tell you that you are always welcome here." Nyphaeria says happily.

Gaia nods.

 

"You know, sold herself out to Aj's demon goddess."

"It is nice to have a respite from war, but for the first time... I hope for revenge. I hope the children of Gaia I narrowly saved from death can strike down the Hive Master in the name of those who found undeserved deaths at his hands."
Pause.
"...I hope being here can clear my clouded mind of that poison."

"Sunset. Like, eight o'clock."

 

"Oh... that doesn't seem good."

 

"I'm surprised you haven't met her yet. Apparently she's got a few file folders on you."

 

"You may rest here as long as you need to. Many have come to me in need of healing, either physical or mental, and I've almost always helped." Nymphaeria says, smiling, lily petals gently falling from the top of the cavern.

 

"How much longer will I be here for? This is very important."

 

"What, is she like a journalist or something?"

 

"I may take you up on that offer." Gaia sighs. "Though, I do have an innate fear in this form... and my other form is far too large for this cavern."

"Detective, preserver, sneak. Busted eight shadow gangs within her first two weeks working for the shadow palace."

"Several days. How urgent is your meeting?"

 

"Very urgent. The kingdom itself is at stake sir!"

I grab for the side and sit up to say it

 

"Damn. Though, I'm not sure what that says about Aj."

 

"What is your fear?" Nyphaeria asks.

 

You feel lightheaded.
"If it's that important, I'll bring her here."

"My heart is the crystal of my staff."

"She also managed to not get imprisoned for having her own copies of most classified files in the shadow palace."
