Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Aj gets in over his head quite the bit. He's not very careful because of his power."

 

Gaia waves at the crowd before flying off after her counterpart, beautifully painted ceramics left behind.

"Guess he found his limits, then."

 

Gaia flies toward a large mountain with what seems to be a colder forest with a few signs of snow on the other side of it, landing near what appears to be an entrance to a cavern. Many faeries appear to be flying about the area, all of different colours and elements.

 

"At least one of 'em. Abigail might come back, though, all 'oh, that wasn't meee!'"
Voidfiller mocks.
"And Aj'd believe her in a second."

 

Gaia flutters near the ground, observing the fae as she heads towards the entrance.
"Excluding all of their other traits, your children are very diverse."

"That's... disgusting."

 

"I agree, but we do deal with some shapeshifters every now and then."

 

"Thank you. I believe variation is the spice of life." Gaia says happily, walking into the cave. The cave, despite having no natural lighting, is barely dark; the amount of faeries enough to light it up, revealing how huge it actually is.

 

"Like yourself?"

Gaia's staff emits a constant green glow, still following her counterpart - albeit not as closely as before.

 

"More like ones that pretend to be people in our group."

 

"Oh... yeah, those are common. Gotta love assassins."

 

Gaia heads toward the center of the cave, where a large pool of water resides. As Gaia approaches it, a giant faerie rises up from the pool, large wings fluttering slightly.

 

"We make the best assassins, especially if you don't know we exist."

 

Gaia looks at them calmly.
"Is this her?"

"I guess brute forcing sometimes works, though."

 

Gaia nods.

"Hello, Gaia." The faerie goddess says, smiling at Gaia.

"It's nice to see you again, Nymphaeria." Gaia says happily.

 

"Well, yeah, but it's more fun if you just kill the king over and over and over again in an area until nobody wants to be king and everything dissolves into chaos or a better type of order."

 

Gaia removes her tiara out of respect.
"Nymphaeria? Fitting it's such a pretty name."

"And if the king isn't a bad king in the first place?"

 

"Thank you, I can tell you have a kind heart. Who may you be?" Nymphaeria asks, smiling.

 

Voidfiller shrugs.
"Whoops, killed 'im anyways."

 

"Well... I am also Gaia, but I belong to the other reality that yours has found itself intertwined with. In my reality, I double as the goddess of life and faerie queen."

"Remind me not to trust you with much."

 

Voidfiller grins.
"Will do."
