Heat: "The pile of bricks falls."

I walk over to the pile of dust and investigate the Maul.

 

It's slightly bigger than a normal hammer, as it's meant for a large creature, but you can still use it. It's made of hard stone and metal.

2d6 + STR bludeoning damage

Two-Handed, Heavy

Melee Weapon

 

Heat: "This maul intrigues me. I will wield it, unless anyone objects."

I latch the warhammer onto my side, put the shield on my back, and equip the maul.

 

Spoiler: Comparisons

Your battle hammer is versatile. It does 1d8 damage one-handed (letting you also use a shield) or 1d10 damage two-handed (which doesn't let you use a shield).

The Maul is 2d8 damage, so is much higher damage (double your 1-handed warhammer damage) but can't be used with a shield, since it's two handed.

It's Heavy property just means:
Small creatures have disadvantage on Attack rolls with heavy weapons. A heavy weapon’s size and bulk make it too large for a Small creature to use effectively.

Which doesn't affect you, as a Medium creature

The increased damage, absurd health, and double attack is making Heat into a living war machine.

He lowers the Lux Blade, but looks at him a little angrily.

Heat: "It is no worry, he did it with intention of damaging the Dao. Only two of my auditory sensors were burst open so I should be fine."

Heat: "Ti'Lin, I recognize this crystal. If I get close to it, it emits a light sting."

 

I end the web spell, walking over to her dissolved ash.

 

Yevor: "Oh, okay."
Yevor sheathes the Lux Blade, still shimmering with a bit of fire and thunder, and examines the dust.
