“Maybe, but he’s not the kind to reach for power.”

 

"It's a big quiver. I mean, it needs to hold many long arrows. It should help."

 

The faerie doesn't notice Gaia until she gets closer, looking a little surprised.

 

"I don't think Ihra was either."

Gaia smiles, offering them the pot.

Something's better than nothing. Just don't lose your arrows.

 

Fine, I'll just throw her off me.

 

"Oh, thank you! Uh, miss...?" The faerie asks, taking the pot happily.

 

"I'm saying if Crystal wants to be as powerful, he's going to have to work hard for it. It's not that I don't think he can get more powerful, I don't think he will."

 

"Also Gaia." She says.

You barely avoid getting cut as you throw her, but her reinforcements are here.
A few bows are drawn and pointed in your direction.
"Your stubbornness is almost enviable."

"Fair point... I think he's still recovering from the trauma of actually killing something."

 

"Also Gaia?" The faerie asks, confused, looking toward the Gaia of her reality.

 

"She is the Gaia of your reality, and I am the Gaia of another."

 

"I'm not too worried about that. Maybe about that thing with Abigail, more so."

 

"You're the Gaia of another reality? W-Wow!" The faerie says, shocked, clutching the pot a little tighter.

 

"Was she your friend, or former friend?"

 

"Neither. I never liked her, and I'm doubtful that she even knows who I am."

 

Gaia smiles, flying back towards Gaia, but getting a look at the village/settlement from above.

"Gaia, is there a faerie queen here? I'd like to meet them, if you don't serve that role here."

"I meant to the rest of the group. You seem... rather cold."

 

"Oh, yeah. One of Aj's, the demon's, best friends."
Pause.
"Former, now, clearly."

 

The town appears to be built on trust of one another and helping each other, the people not gathered around Gaia working to help each other out.

"They are not here, but I can take you to them." Gaia says.

 

"Oh, of course the demon would get in over his head..." She grunts.

Gaia changes to her air guardian form, large angelic wings growing from her back as she takes to the skies, flying across the forest.
