"I just didn't bother tapping into you. You seemed like a madman, and flora has no place for fury." She says, the flower closing and receding back into her palm.

"Yeah, I know. It just bugs me that she might not come back."

 

"Yes, I was in a bit of a rush."

I awkwardly shift in the seat

 

"...Is your shoulder numbed?" She asks, gently wiping the wound clean.

 

"Nothin' wrong with being a madman."
Voidfiller summons a ceramic bowl with some grapes, starting to eat.
"Care for some?"
He offers.

 

"Thanks, but no thanks. I've found that nobody can grow fruits just the way you like them aside from... well... yourself."

 

"You're not alone on that." He sighs.

 

"Would you like some veggies, then?"

 

Anne starts to walk ahead of you.
"...Well, we going for a walk or no?"

"I'm about the only one who isn't hungry." She says, shaking her head.
Pause.
"I suppose introducing myself may be a good idea, if I have to put up with you for an extended period of time."

 

"Yeah, probably. It'd be nice to know your name."

 

"Alright then. I suppose I already know yours, so..."
She offers him a handshake.
"Hello, Voidfiller. My name is Miorah, Gaia's right-hand girl and operator of the meditation room."

 

"Hello, Miorah."
He creates a new hand to shake hers, this one extending from his chest.
"Nice to... know your name."

 

"Yes, apparently the only herbs had at the Galer villages were only numbing ones."

 

"Yes."
He slowly follows her, a bit lost in thoughts.

 

She shrugs, shaking his hand.
"Makes things slightly less creepy."

"No, they have more than just that. You sort of used a herb which can give hallucinations, though."

She keeps a slow pace.

You just don't want to lose the last bit of family you have, do you?

 

"What do you mean? I didn't see anything out of the ordinary when I rode back."

 

"Eh."
He shrugs, the arm retracting.
"The world gets a lot less creepy after some of the things I've done."

 

"You ran Nemmek around the courtyard and you asked him why he was going slow..."

"Heh, nature's got plenty of freaks, anyways."

 

"It'd be boring if it didn't."

 

"True, true."
Pause.
"...Though I do wonder why you seem so amused by such ineffective and grueling weaponry."

 

"I thought we were on the path back, and he was going slow...I may need help for this."
