Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"You've no need to apologise. It wasn't your fault." The guard says.

 

"Thanks for the confirmation, I thought I might've been too nice."

 

"It may not have been my fault, but it still weighs on me... if not your people, then mine who were left to the mercy of the Hive Master."

"True... but the storm's not dying down, either."

"You ditched your own creation for years, I really didn't expect this much."

 

Voidfiller glares at her.
"And how do you know that?"

 

"That might be because the Ziz is still near."

 

"What's it to you?" She asks, growing a flower from her palm.

"Of course, but... that means it'd be getting better, right?"

 

"A lot, actually."

 

"I think.."
He looks at the sky, looking around for anything out of the ordinary.

 

"That is...certainly a sacrifice." The guard says, looking down.

 

The flower begins spitting up a column of colored pollen, roughly forming an image of Crystal.
"Let the plants open Crystal's mind, and check his interactions with you."

Gaia stays silent after another sigh.

Still nothing, but also still no lightning.

 

Things eventually start to return to normal, people beginning to leave.

 

Gaia silently watches them go.

 

"Want to maybe walk around a bit?"

 

"What? Look, lady, I don't need some plants to be my psychiatrist, okay?"

 

A long while later, once almost everyone has left, Tenebrae returns, rising from the floor again as Gaia squeezes through the throne room doors, far too large to get through despite the size of them.

"These doors are tiny." Gaia complains, deciding to instead to stick her head through them to look inside, long hair blocking the hallways beside her.

 

Anne sighs.
"...Sure. Don't run too fast."

"That was a statement. The plants relaxed Crystal by easing his mind... giving me access to know that your name is Voidfiller and you abandoned him long ago."

Gaia looks over, also taking up most of the throne room.
"Hello."

 

"See, that make more sense."

 

"That a satisfactory answer?"

 

"There isn't much we can do at this point."

 

"Considering I don't know much about the stuff you use, and that Crystal isn't exactly hard to tap into, yeah, it is."
