Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The entire chamber is filled with an intense light, almost paradoxical amounts of energy seeking out the creatures and turning their life force into more raw energy.
If the portal's still open, it and the realm inside gets hit with thousands of charges of light magic before Ihra just collapses.

One throws a dagger into the sawblade, jamming it up.

________________________________

"...Thanks." Anne sighs.

 

He smiles at her, letting her climb on his shoulder. Afterwards he quickly continues his way.

 

“Think you’re getting off that easy?”
The weapon shifts, and the dagger falls through. It’s only a second before it’s back to normal.

 

Anne doesn't give you a death grip with her claws, though another lightning strike hits to your left.
"...In retrospect, isn't chasing lightning, like, asking to get struck by lightning?"

One hurls their lance at him in response, the other two rushing at him.

 

Voidfiller sinks down, avoiding the lance, before springing back up and aiming for the neck of the right-most draconian, the saw spinning.

 

"Well.. this is the easiest way of finding her in my opinion."

 

They block with an armored arm, the blade not quite cutting through before they throw a punch.

"Yeah... but once we get close, I'm not getting struck by lightning with you, thank you very much."

 

The portal seems to have closed just in time, all the creatures slain. I do however open a portal to the Realm of Shadows below Ihra, who is caught by a guard and taken to the Realm of Light.

A smaller dark portal opens up where the large one once was, the cloaked figure stepping through and clapping slowly.

"Very nice. Very nice. You sure know how to clear a room of hostiles in record time don't you?" The cloaked figure says.

"Who the hell are you!?" Ignia shouts.

"Oh, you don't recognise me? I thought we were friends." Abigail says, pulling back her cloak.

Ignia seems rather shocked.

"Why are you doing this, Abigail?" I ask, angry.

Abigail laughs, "You understand so little, Aj. It's funny how you can claim to be such a great king when you know almost nothing." Abigail says.

Angry, I charge at Abigail with Shadow Katana drawn.

"I don't know what's got into you, but I'm sure as hell going to get it out of you." I say, angry and determined.

Abigail quickly sidesteps me before ramming a chakram surrounded with light straight through me in one deft movement.

"H-How-" I stutter, shocked.

"Hah, fool. You're weak, you're slow. Worthless." Abigail says, before spinning around and slicing straight through me, turning me into a Shadow Crystal.

"What a waste of life." Abigail says, raising her foot above my Shadow Crystal before bringing it down. My Shadow Crystal is quickly whipped out of the way before Abigail can crush it, however, thrown through a dark portal as Aqui and Aeris prepare to attack.

"Hmph. Until next time." Abigail says, disappearing through a dark portal as Aeris' boomerang flies straight through where Abigail once stood.

 

"Be sure to get off before that happens then."

 

The weapons grabs onto the arm, the saw still spinning, as earth rises up to take the punch.

 

Someone follows Abigail back...

The draconian explodes into a bunch of water before reforming off to the side, a few arrows fired at Voidfiller.

"I'll do my best, thanks." She mumbles.

 

The earth quickly forms into a wall between the arrows and Voidfiller, he himself spinning and hitting the other draconian with the flat of his saw.

 

They can't seem to see Abigail once they're through the portal, a twilight light around them in what seems to be a connection to another portal, nothing else around.

 

They phase through it, mildly shocking Voidfiller with electricity.

 

"What do you think? Should we face her or should we just talk?" He thinks to himself.

 

Sapphire tries to trace the portal.


The phoenix looks at Gaia once again.
"What, that totem meant for troops? Shame I showed up..."

"I think talking is out the wi-"
Pause.
"Rema."

 

Voidfiller grunts.
“All right!”
He yells, tossing aside his weapon.
“Fuck this!”
He disappears, and the draconian that was in front of him heads something.
“Hey.”

 

The portal seems to lead to somewhere that...doesn't exist?


The phoenix feels something whack it's head rather hard. It seems one of the armoured dark creatures who got outside somehow managed to survive Ihra's light blast.

 

Sapphire tries to open it anyways.


It turns around and rips through the creature, armor as good as paper.

No response.

 

Before Sapphire can, odd white creatures drop through portals around her, seemingly fluidly dancing around her before one of them strikes her, the pain sharp and intense.


The creature is killed easily.
