Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I don't think talking to her would work, but we could try. Where is she, by the way?"

 

"I'm not quite sure. They don't seem malicious, so I hope it's nothing serious."

 

Aqui decides to slope her ice, making a slippery climb for all who attempt to get over it.

 

You can hear other footsteps coming.
"Well, looks like the cavalry's about here."

It eventually rolls astray towards him.

Another blast at the door.

"The healer wouldn't be. Just go get yourself tended to."

Another blast, and more cracks, including one shooting through the ice.

"Hard to miss. If there's a lightning strike, it's from her."

 

Aqui repairs it quickly, leaping up into one of her floating bubbles of water.

 

"Good. Pay close attention then."
He waits for any lightning strikes.

 

"Understandable, Solis. Thank you."

I quickly exit and head to the healers

 

Another crack, part of the crystalline barrier breaking off.

Anne waits, a strike landing over the fire.
"Yeah... it had to be her, didn't it?"

The healer seems to be asleep, or unconscious. Probably the latter.

 

"Well that's fortunate."

I look around for supplies to tend the wound myself

 

"That way then. Come on."
He runs towards the place were he saw the strike land.

 

The elites stand ready.

 

A staff and a few herbs are all she has.

Anne falls off, running after you once she gets up.
"Oh, come on!"

A shot flies through the gap and strikes the castle, more blasts making the hole a bit bigger.

 

Aeris fires some of the rocks Tirra added to her tornado through the gap, the rocks flying at extreme speed.

 

"Sorry.."
He looks at her, still running towards the strike.

 

The rocks turn to dust, obscuring a much more concussive blast that takes a bit of a toll on Aeris and opens the door fairly wide.

A phoenix is visible on the outside, inhaling.

Anne's dirty, but catching up.
Another strike, same place.

 

"Come on! Hurry!"

 

Anne picks up the pace.
"It's so far, though!" She complains.

 

"Don't care, just keep going."

 

Aqui fires all of her floating orbs of water into the phoenix's mouth, the water traveling at high speed and icy cold.

 

"I'm coming, I'm coming!"

All of it evaporates before it gets out of the door, the scorching heat radiating all the way back to Gaia's chambers.
Her chamber doors begin to glow slightly.

Still inhaling.
