Nice. Personally, Yevor needs the Ruby of the War Mage too much to pass it up, but other things (cough cough Tankard of Sobriety cough cough) would also be really good for him.

Also, this goes great with the helm I mentioned earlier (I would be totally ok with someone having both):
SMOLDERING ARMOR
Armor (any), common
Wisps of harmless, odorless smoke rise from this armor while it is worn.

 

Yeah, the ruby is pretty much perfect. I'm adding it to his inventory, retroactively attached to his sword.

Give the Smoldering Armor and the Dread Helm to Heat.

Gnokos doesn't count, as he's usually in a pocket plane, and counts the same as Alfred does

That is totally something that Caligo would swipe.
Could you imagine, reaching 6th level for monastery of shadows and teleporting then switching appearance?

 

You don't change appearance, just the cloak does, and it must remain looking like a cloak.

But let's be honest, with the hood up, it would have the same effect

 

That sounds like an insane combo....

 

Also, btw, every time you (talking to the party spellcasters here) level up you can replace one of your existing spells with another spell I'm pretty sure (as well as gaining new spells). You can use this to grab some of the new Xanathar's spells, and of course you can grab them as your new spells learned.

Yeah, Hand of Radiance is no longer a thing, it got switched to Word of Radiance. It's basically the same thing, but SLIGHTLY different in wording.
