Mage/Dark Wizard Air Mage/dark Wizard Using Eidolon

This is a build that combines the air element and the mage/dark wizard (and somehow still has a decent damage output).

Armor​

Helmet: Centipede
This helmet gives you +2 attack speed tiers, some melee damage, and walk speed which is important to make a build with good mobility.

Chestplate: Chestplate of Ineptitude
Like the helmet, +2 attack speed tiers and melee damage.
Possible Replacements: Mummy's Rag

Leggings: Leictreach Makani
+2 attack speed tiers, similar to previous armor, as well as air damage and walk speed, which is pretty good for this build.
Possible Replacements: Electrocharge Greaves, Leggings of Haste

Boots: Statue
The walk speed from this build makes you actually move faster than before while wearing statue, and you definitely need the health/ elemental defense from these boots (I believe this makes up more than half of the build's health).

Accessories

Rings: Kaze (x2)
For some extra walk speed and agility

Bracelet: Not sure
Probably just go with diamond steam

Necklace: Not sure
Once again, diamond steam is a good choice but necklace of a thousand storms works as well

Weapons​

Primary Weapon: Eidolon
If you've been wondering about all the attack speed tiers, this is the explanation. Eidolon is an air wand with a super slow attack speed. I could infinitely ramble on about Eidolon and how great it is to have a super slow air weapon, but I'll stop here.

Secondary Weapon: Bonder
Basically for just if you're low on health and need more mana to teleport away/ heal

Open to Suggestions for item replacements (especially for accessories).

The spell damage is pretty bad though
isn't mage suppost to be spell damage

 

The whole idea around Eidolon is that it's a melee wand.

marginally better, but technically still better than mine in every aspect. I just used the stuff provided in the post though

 

Mage isn't always necessarily used for spell damage, because the only one of mage's spells focused purely on damage is meteor, so you can still make use of heal, teleport, and ice snake while still having massive melee damage
