I am part of an uncommon schooling system called the IB. Long story short, the classes I take now I also take next year. My mid-terms are at the end of this year, and my finals are at the end of next year, covering two years worth of information.

We have normal grades that our school gives, and IB grades that go directly to the IB. We are currently working on something called an English IOP (Internal Oral Presentation), which is our first project where the grades are not from our teachers, but our IOPs are directly sent to Sweden for the IB people to grade.

For my IOP, I am taking the characters from In Cold Blood and turning them into DnD characters (it wasn't my first choice, but it's what I was stuck with). That's why I was asking if people read In Cold Blood, so they could see what they thought of my ideas (very few people in my school play DnD so I can't ask them).

Anyway, here are the stats I rolled for each:

Alvin Dewey: 11, 12, 11, 13, 13, 7
Perry Smith: 8, 14, 7, 11, 12, 11
Dick Hickock: 11, 13, 14, 13, 14, 12

Dick is the only one with decent stats, Perry and Alvin are horrible with two 7s and an 8. And there are no stats over 14!

4d6 drop can either turn out reeeeeally well... Or really, really poorly. This is why I use point buy...

 

Considering the big thing of my IOP is explaining every single choice I made in turning the novel characters into DnD characters, I may end up just picking stats myself, so I can say "Alvin is good in these categories, but sucks in this one" myself without the dice screwing me over.

In an easy arena? Where you literally blew up some elementals instead of letting us actually beat them?

But yeah, the plan was for the earth elementals just go explode every 2 rounds until they are all dead, then Kortassa comes...

But hey, on the bright side now you have actual player-fueled hate for Kortassa!
