"If any one of us took her on, we'd be dead." Anne says.
"Right... but it'd be a terrible idea to kill her."
"But worse if she came back with a vengeance."

 

"I wasn't thinking of killing her, just a duel or something."

 

"Again, if she lost, she may wind up just trying to kill you any way possible."

 

"Yeah... probably."

 

"Because I don't want to be distanced. I wanted to spend some time with you and Artemis. Us, as a friend group." I say.

 

Ihra teleports over and hugs you.
"Come on, you. We finish up with Gaia, and we have more places to explore."

"Well... what do you want me to do? Land, or what?"

 

"Heh...thanks." I say, Artemis looking a little surprised to see Ihra randomly appear.

 

Ihra glances over at Artemis.
"Still have a bunch of energy from visiting Praecantatia. Gotta burn it somehow."

 

"You could try making mage crystals." Artemis suggests.

 

I grab a piece of bread and a glass of ice water, and sit down and eat for a while

 

"Maybe later. We've killed enough time."

Your room cools comfortably as the moon rises.
Except, tonight is silent.

 

"I'll go round up the elites." I say, heading out of the game room.

 

Ihra glances at Artemis.
"You going to leave Sgavrinn home again?"

 

It's never this quiet.

I become quiet myself, and slowly begin to move towards my staff

 

"I haven't seen him much as of late. I've been intending to spend more time with him." Artemis says.

 

"Hopefully he's okay, then."

"I hope so." Artemis says, a little worried.

 

"Did you maybe leave him in the Garden of Gaia? That might be a safe place for him."

 

"No, I remember seeing him after then." Artemis says.

 

"Right... your forest. I'm sure he's fine, he can grow his own food."
