Server Restarting In Fallen Factory Dungeon

The title says ALL OF IT. I was in the Fallen Factory Dungeon, and the server restarting in 10minutes message appeared, so I decided to disconnect and connect again and now I am outside the dungeon, and I lost all my progress... REALLY?? 1 hour for nothing?

"You logged out during a boss fight. Your character has been teleported back to the dungeon entrance!"

It wasn't even the boss fight, I was on a room where I needed to collect 4 cores, and 16 other items....

It takes me only like 25 minutes or less to finish it on assassin...

 

Doesn't matter anymore... My question is: It is possible to know when a server will restart?

 

I assure you, you are doing something wrong if it takes you that long for FF.
Even with all the lag I complete a run in 15 minutes or so.

As @ectoplasmaticgoo said, if FF takes you more than 15-20 minutes to do then you are clearly doing something wrong. Also, for me antikythera supercomputer takes about 5 minutes, so if you see that the server is restarting in 10 minutes while in the computer room, there's no need to panic.

 

Everything after Wynnston is the boss fight

 

Not everybody fly through the parkour rooms with a spell like a badass boy because it's cool to skip the cool puzzles.

 

I am pretty sure I don't skip anything. Besides, I never heard anyone having such time-wise troubles with FF before.

 

Erm i never skipped any part of the parkour (unless you call vanishing like... 2times for the charge insaaaaaaaaanee skipping) yet the dungeon always takes me less than 20min .-. And if the parkour really takes you 30min.. oh boy all i can say is... git maybe not completely horrible at parkour? ;-;
Its not even difficult to do any usually vanilla parkours are MUCH harder ( @LarzLapiz can confirm :(((((( )

 

no, but you can change servers on the bridge before the boss fight.
You can just look at chat and hurry to get out before 1o mins is up, or wait till a server comes back online after restarting. That would maximize your playtime without restart I guess.

 

(I oftenly do parkour, I will not consider me as a pro, I don't have extern review, but some peoples call me hacker x))

I'm just not selfish, I know some peoples have some difficulties that some peoples don't have, and the reverse works too.

 

Assuming that it can take between 30 to 45min for that parkour is just plain ridiculous though ._. Saying that it doesnt take that long isnt being selfish. Its balancing out the probabilities and choosing the more likely one. Namely the one hour just being an over dramatisation.

 

However, it would be nice to implement a function or a way to tell when the server restarts, I am pretty sure it (server restart timer) has been suggested before. (again, a minor detail that requires a code rework again)
