Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I can't kill anyone in this form, so as long as you don't make me want to kill you, you should be fine." He smiles.
He cuts out a large piece of bark. Then cuts down a few branches and turns them into walking sticks.

 

Ihra pauses.
"I'll speak with him about it, but I'll need to ask Amethyst's caretaker her side of this first."

Still nothing... yet.
The silence is something between peaceful and unnerving. Not even a breath or a footstep echoes down the hall.

Anne shifts a bit to stay on your shoulder.
"Oh, yeah. That's sort of comforting."
Pause.
"...Well, only a little."

 

"I can take you to her, if you'd like." The guard says.

 

Ihra takes a moment to think.
"...Can I talk to the queen and then go with you?"

 

I walk up to the meditation room door, listening through the door.

 

"Certainly, though the king may wish to stay present." The guard informs.

 

"Hehe.." He chuckles before he continues cutting down the tree.

 

The only sound you can hear is a soft melody echoing throughout the room.

"I was guessing he would stay." Ihra shrugs.

You've already cut down the tree.
"Hey, if you split the log in half, I can help make a stronger sled than just a piece of bark."

 

I sit to the side of the door, checking over my sword.

 

"Okay."
He cuts the log in half, creating two pieces with a flat side.

 

"Well, head on in." The guard says, opening the doors to the throne room enough for Ihra to walk through.

 

Anne hops off and starts carefully burning an indentation in the middle of the log.
"This way... we could sit in the middle and... not worry about the sled breaking as much..."

Ihra bows, heading through and looking up at the thrones.

 

Lielia appears to be sitting in her throne as Solus paces about, stressed.

 

"Hello?" Ihra calls, looking up towards Lielia.

 

Lielia looks down.

"Solus, we have company." Lielia says.

"Hm? Oh, hello." Solus says, looking at Ihra.

 

"Hi! I was wondering if the queen would hug me." Ihra says happily.

 

Lielia looks a little confused.

"Well, I can't change my size, so I can't hug you properly if you're that small." Lielia says.

 

Ihra taps her staff, growing to a slightly larger size.
"One minute..."
With a flash of green light, Ihra reverts, about half of Lielia's size now.
"Okay... hug?"

 

"Uh...ok?" Lielia asks, a little confused as she hugs Ihra.

 

Ihra hugs back.
"Sorry, it's just... hugs remind me of my mother."
