Murder Mystery 3.5: Redux

I'll go ask the identifier what he needed space for all day

 

Identifier: "I had just recieved a large order of weapons for the Llevigar army."

 

''Have you got any proof of this''

 

Identifier: "Yes, I have the order here."
He shows you an order for the crates of weapons to be identified.

 

Is it from the army?

 

It looks like it does.

 

''Can you show me the weapons''

 

The Identifier leads you to several crates of weapons, two of them opened.

 

I'll go to the police force and see what they know.

 

Investigator: "Let's see...the murder happened at roughly 12 noon, and the body was found at 3 PM. According to eyewitness testimonies, several group of hooded men were seen heading to the location of the murder before the murder. Current theory suggests that cult-related violence may be a potential cause for death."

 

Is there any evidwnce that would suggest a cult?

 

Investigator: "Well, no, but its believed that the necromancer was part of a cult."

 

Ah. Can we add that to the discoveries.

I have a few suspicions.
The Old man seems suspicious to me, his statements contradict the identifier's and why would he identify a dagger?
The Hooded man does not seem suspicious to me at all
Perhaps the most obvious choice would be the "cult" of hooded people, as most people suspect them. However, this seems far too easy, so I'm going to mark them as innocent unless proven guilty.

I personally am leading to the old man, he was one of the first people we met. Some characters were made up just to go along with what players asked, but we can never be too sure.

Hey, in my defence I have a hard time playing Phoenix Wright and that game straight up gives you the suspects and evidence.

 

This is why I'm still debating about making the suspects list a given or not. I think I might alternate every now and then between given and hidden.
