Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"She's currently being held in a prison cell for a short while to think about her actions." The guard says.

 

"I love it." He smiles

 

It takes them a moment to overcome confusion and uncertainty, but one responsive shout becomes many, the thieves distributing armor and (better) weapons to the townsfolk.

...You've got your army. Time to get N to tell you the rest of the plan.

"What do you mean, how can I see you?" She asks.

Davarra then pushes you away from your staff, the room filling with a thick fog that collects around your staff.
"Don't... inhale any of that." She sighs, rushing over to a cauldron to pour the remains of a potion in. The reaction seems to be giving off the fog.

"Obviously, metals or buffering materials will help. If you can make a gel of sorts we can use to help reinforce everything, that'd be immensely helpful. The plants are producing a sap that helps distribute the shock."

"...Is there any potential risk to having Amethyst out wandering alone and unattended?"

"Well, don't get too caught up with your new toy. You've still got a stubborn vixen and a wedding coming up." Anne laughs.

 

"I know. How much longer till our outfits are done?"

 

“Gel or sap? Yeah, I’m sure I have tons of that lying around.”
Voidfiller says, genuine.
“Just give me a bit to get some stone in here.”
He looks through the portal once more, then replaces it higher up, as stones of various sizes start falling through.

 

I reach N and whisper:

"What's the rest of the plan?"

 

"We've actually been looking for her. We can't find her in the city." The guard says.

 

Stepping further away from the circle, I say, "Have you found anything?"

 

"I mean, you shouldn't be able to see me? How do you know I'm here?"

 

"What do you mean, I shouldn't be able to see you? I can see you just fine."

Upon closer inspection, it seems that both of her eyes are made of glass - she's, at least it seems she should be, totally blind.

"Yeah. The path is easy to trace. I followed the lead for a long time and it was still strong. Whoever wants to meet you wants to do it badly."

Ihra pauses.
"...Will she be okay?"

"Wait fifteen minutes, then we storm the stronghold that used to be your castle."

"Four days? Three? I haven't really been keeing track." Anne shrugs.

Gaia telekinetically moves the stone towards the wall, the workers hastily fitting the pieces of stone between the plants.

 

"We should go back in a day or three then, just to check."
He looks at his axes.
"I got those two fixed, by the way."

 

Crystal and Voidfiller help by putting some of the stones together in larger pieces, while I get up into the portal. After a bit, some rusted metal carts start coming down through the portal, carrying more stone.

 

I wait.

 

"I believe I have an idea of who- or what- it might be. I saw draconians in my visions earlier today. I fear they might want an audience."

 

"Yeah... maybe we should also go back to the beach. The Leviathan might be back, too... I can't even remember his name, though."

The stone starts making the door resemble a door, though the vines still seem to be making up most of the wall.

N looks up, then turns to you.
"Okay, let's go. Hope you can run; if we can take the castle by sunrise, we'll be in a good position."

"...Do you think they are not to be trusted?"

 

Voidfiller lets the stone and carts rain for a few more minutes before going up to the portal.
"Alright, get down from there, I'm going to get some gel!"
He yells up to it, and I soon jump down from the opening.
"There's still more stone in there, though."
"Gel'll probably be more useful. It'll be harder to get, but useful."
Voidfiller closes the portal, cutting up some stone that were dropping through.

 

"Was it Mark?" He questions himself.

 

"I do not know. They seem ominous, but I cannot see their intentions."

 

“Let us go, citizens!”

I dash in front of the crowd and begin running towards the castle.

 

"Well...there aren't any major predators out in the wild, and there's plenty of edible plants. It's just safer and easier to have her in the city." The guard explains.
