Yes, you guys being in an encounter with 3 Earth Elementals is near impossible. But, you don't know what's going on in the DM's head. Trust me, it's NOT as bad as you think (I already nerfed the elementals AC and HP, but trust me, they are not as bad as you think)

Or they could stand their ground... Don't forget that the elementals can't actually fit through the gaps in the mill walls

 

They could also just make larger holes in the walls.
