    Especially since I have a magic weapon, meaning the wisp is not resistant to it.

    I'm going to attack the Wisp.

    Ice Sword Hit: NAT 20
    Normal hit: 6 + 5 = 11

    Frostbrand Piercing Damage: 2 + 6 (NAT 20) + 3 = 11. It's not resistant because the frostbrand is magical.
    Frostbrand Cold Damage: 4 / 2 = 2

    Total damage: 13. That was fast.
