Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I-I'm sorry! I-I will!" Kia says submissively, hastily looking for the coin.

 

I am not breaking concealment. I'll hold my breath just in case.

 

Peridot goes idle again.

"...Hello?" She whispers, nervous.

 

Holding my breath, holding my breath.

 

Kia eventually finds the coin, and she flies off again.

Nobody else comes, leaving Peridot alone. Perhaps Peridot could have made friends with the faeries?

 

She pauses, blinking a bit before making eye contact. Strangely enough, her eyes are glassy - it seems as if she's blind.
"...Please don't kill me..." She says, looking nervous.

Peridot pays no mind to the passing idea, letting himself partially deactivate.

 

"I see. If you need my staff, I'm coming with you. It can be a dangerous weapon."

I begin to walk towards Davarra

 

Voidfiller starts thinking while I pitch an idea.
“If we stone-up the sides of the doors, creating a narrow passage, will that entice them to rush through without breaking the stone, or do you think they’ll break the stone anyways?”

 

She nods, starting back towards her chambers.

"They'll break the stone anyways... if they can. Besides, no matter how narrow the passage is, there's too many of them."

 

“What weapons do these guys use? Is the stone just gonna disappear upon contact?”

 

Nobody else comes by, at all.

 

"I suggest you all cover your ears, then."

I exit through the hole I punched and enter an alley.

I roar. Very loudly.

 

"Yeah. It's very strong apparently."

 

Flooring Davarra, I unstrap the staff from my back before heading inside her rooms

 

The thought of killing her didn't really enter my mind till now, but I'm just gonna slowly leave through the door.

 

"No, but it'd be like trying to stop a railgun blast with a rock."

"Seems like it."

People start coming out of their houses in their nightgowns, robes, and other light clothing, all holding 'weapons' (kitchen knives, a pan or two, some have shortswords) and look around.

She seems to have three rituals set up at once.
"Staff in the center of the room, please. This trace... it goes farther than I thought was even possible."

She waves once, glassy eyes still looking at you.
"Bye, miss."

He deactivates.

Ihra heads up to a guard in the light palace.
"Excuse me, but do you know where the guardian who shot my friend is?"

 

"To arms, citizens. We will take back our kingdom and overthrow the tyrant! Siege!"

 

"Oh... I'll get some stone in here, then I'll look to see if I've got other materials, how's that sound?"

 

I place my staff in the centre of the room

 

I step back in.
"Okay, how can you see me?"
