Artemis sighs, hugging Ihra.

 

"...Promise me you won't send Aj after the other guardian, either?"

"I'll just tell him what happened." Artemis says.

"...But then he'll send someone after her."

 

"I won't let him." Artemis says, cheering up a little.

"Thanks."
Pause.
"...But I'm still a bit worried. If this Amethyst needed a caretaker, and she's now missing..."

Upon returning to the customer service desk, the clerk takes the price tag off.
"Is that all for today?"

 

"I'd offer to help find her but...I just want to go see Aj." Artemis says, sounding a little depressed again.

"Think so, I got arrows and a bow and that's all I need."
He hands the bow to the clerk.

 

"Yeah, we can go back." Ihra says, opening a portal to Earth.

They hand it back.
"No need, it's all yours now."

"If you want to help with the door, go ahead, wisecrack." She grumbles.

 

“Sorry, sorry, look, I’ll help wherever.”
He says, desummoning the tools.

 

Artemis steps through the portal.

 

"You can help heal, bury corpses, or help with the door." She says bluntly.

Ihra goes through, closing it and opening another portal to the shadow realm.

 

Artemis heads through, looking around where the portal lead her.

 

Her forest.
Ihra vanishes, waving at Artemis beforehand.

 

Artemis smiles and waves a bit, before going to find me.

 

-Meanwhile-

Peridot lands in the colloseum, checking the position of the sun/moon.

 

“What’s the door need help with? Just more stuff to block it?”
