Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Artemis looks a little depressed, glancing away.

 

North

 

She's walking back to her chambers, looking weary.

 

I catch up to her.
“Hey.”

 

"...What?"

Heading north, you find an old hut as you trek through the forest. It sounds quiet, but you can't be sure. You've pissed off a lot of villages recently.

She turns.
"Yes?"

 

“Do you need some help? You seem exhausted.”

 

"I've been forced to tend to my wounded and dead children for too long." She sighs.

 

“Is that a ‘yes’? I can assist, myself, and can get help.”

 

"I cannot easily turn down badly needed aid."

 

“Alright. I’ll go get some people.”
I say, heading back tp the portal to the Void Palace.

 

"It's...it's nothing." Artemis says.

 

"Sure thing."
He walks around the shop, looking at the different kind of designs.

 

I'll check to make sure it's empty first.

 

Back in the Void Palace... it's still mostly empty.

Peeking in, someone inside's sleeping.

They're mostly the same. Some have a shiny finish, others have painted-on camoflague or designs.

"It's never nothing with you."

 

It’s a few hours before I re-enter Gaia’s palace, Crystal and Voidfiller at my side.

 

"I don't want to talk about it, alright!" Artemis snaps, her eyes looking a little teary.

 

She looks at the trio.
"Hello. Nice to meet you two."

 

He grabs one of the nice ones.
"I'll take this one."

 

"That's why I'm really worried..." Ihra sighs, hugging Artemis a bit tighter.

Crystal says happily.
“Hey. So what seems to be the problem, Miss?”
Voidfiller jokes, summoning a hammer and a toolbox.
“Voidfiller, this is serious!”
