Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Nobody stops Amethyst, though she finds herself on a path leading away from the palace and into the main city.

 

She keeps following the path, knocking her tail every now and then to get a bigger picture of her surroundings.

 

Amethyst ends up in the main city, various people about who seem to be avoiding her, as well as a multitude of buildings.

 

She keeps walking along, trying not to get trampled or hit by anything.

 

I leave and see if I can just slip into the crowd.

 

Everyone avoids Amethyst, making it easy not to bump into anyone.

After walking for a long while, Amethyst finds herself at the outskirts of the city.

 

Unless you want to make a big scene again, making yourself appear human to other eyes may make this easier on you.
...a different human than the guards tried to chase, preferably.

Still curious, she keeps going.

 

Eventually Amethyst finds herself outside the city in a thick forest.

 

Was I not already- nevermind. I'll make myself look an older woman. I walk outside with the look that I already have a destination in mind.

 

She knocks her tail against a tree, even more curious.

This disguise seems to work just fine, but... you've got several potential locations to swipe a map.

A visitor's center is probably the easiest but also the most suspicious, and it won't have much outside of town. The outdoors shop is bound to have a better map, but you'd have to shoplift in front of cameras. Finally, you could just go to a bar and hope... but not many bars are open around noon.

 

“Hello. I suppose you already know who I am.. or who I was before my current self. Firstly, which armory is this, and do we have correct mapping and a strike route of said armory? Secondly, do we have proper equipment to raid the armory efficiently? Thirdly, what role do I play in this scheme?”

 

It feels like a few birds fly out of it, and some of it's leaves land on Amethyst's head, as well as an acorn.

 

Amethyst keeps strolling through the forest.

"We have no mapping, because the thing's in the one new building."
"And the equipment we need to raid is in there."
"Your job is to punch a hole in the wall."

 

Amethyst senses a few wild animals scurrying about the forest, running up trees or into holes in the ground.

 

"Fair enough. When is this strike occuring?"

 

*jepopady music plays in head a bit*






Shoplifting it is.

 

I exit the room and head back into my chambers, grabbing the loaf of bread as I come in

 

"Whatever night you'd like. We'd strike during the shift change."

Seems your chambers have been completely undisturbed.
...Good.

An employee greets you at the door.
"Good afternoon! What are you looking for today?"

She continues her stroll for quite a while...


Ihra, woken by the commotion, rushes out to try and see what happened.

 

"Can we make tonight work?"

 

"Yeah, shift change is still an hour away."
