Your cloak looks normal and your mace looks normal, but you'd definitely need more to get past any guards.
"Well... it's better. I don't know how to make it look like you're not trying to hide something, but I doubt that's an option."

"Heh, long day?" The guard chuckles.

You walked further to get to the beach, are you just getting hungry?

 

“I will take my chances.”

OOC: I thought my cape was really trippy? Like it was made of space matter.

 

OOC: You have the cloak you did when you were human. Everything you'll get is stuff you had before you forfeit your body to become the stars.

"As you wish..." They sigh.

After a decently long walk, a city wall is in view, the lookouts already giving you funny looks.
"Don't come any closer until you explain what... that... is!" One of the guards shouts at you and the man helping you.
"If I knew, I'd tell you!" He shouts back.
"If it can speak for itself, then make it!" They respond.

 

I'll observe the guards. Thier positions, patrols, thier armor and weapons, everything.

 

Two on the top of the gate, and one more on each side of the gate on the ground.
The guards on top have light armor and crossbows, the lower ones have heavy armor. The guard on the left has a halberd, and the other has a broadsword.

 

"It's just that keep walking from shop to shop, which is a bit annoying." He smiles.

 

"If you want, I can send someone to run down and check the price." They offer.

 

"Yes please. That would be greatly appreciated."

Do I remember any official signals of the city?

 

No, it's been too long...

"Can you speak, or not?" They shout.

They nod, going off to the side and whispering something in another guard's ear, that guard then heading upstairs.
"Price check'll be back in a minute or so."

 

I shake my head.

 

"I'll wait. Have nothing better to do anyway."

 

"I have a few connections with dark faeries that could probably hook me up," I say, shrugging, "They're basically the Shadow versions of faeries."

 

I head back to my Chambers to drop some things off and prepare for my audience with the king

 

They turn, telling other guards something.
"Bring him in, and check him for any belongings."
A few other guards walk out towards you.

"Hide the crown. I don't know how, just hide it." Your escort whispers.

It seems Wesley left you a loaf of bread outside your door.

"That, or I could inquire about the normal faerie queen."

They nod, waiting.
"...What's it like being a shifter?"

 

"Nothing special. I get a few weird faces every now and then, but still."
